AC Milan Tickets & Matchday Guide
San Siro • Milan2025/26 Season
How to Buy AC Milan Tickets
We cover every path into the stadium: official club channels, officially authorized hospitality partners, and vetted resellers. Each evaluated honestly with realistic expectations so you know exactly what to expect.
Official AC Milan Tickets
San Siro holds over 75,000 fans, but AC Milan's passionate following means big fixtures sell out fast. The ticketing system runs through the club's official booking platform, with a loyalty card scheme that gives members priority access for the most in-demand matches.
Quick reality check for visitors:
- • Derby della Madonnina (vs Inter), Juventus, Champions League knockouts: Sell out quickly. Hospitality or verified marketplaces are your realistic options
- • Mid-table Serie A: Usually available through official channels with a free MyMilan account
- • Cup competitions and early European rounds: Your best chance at face-value tickets
- • San Siro's large capacity helps, but Milan's global fanbase and the biggest fixtures still create massive demand
AC Milan's ticketing system (MyMilan):
- • Create a free MyMilan account at booking.acmilan.com/en to access ticket sales
- • The free account is sufficient for most regular Serie A matches
- • The Cuore Rossonero (CRN) card provides priority access for high-demand matches, valid for 4 years, and allows purchasing up to 4 tickets per match
- • CRN cardholders also get a 10% discount at the AC Milan store and access to away match tickets
- • Tickets are also available at the Casa Milan ticket office and the AC Milan Flagship Store on Via Dante, plus the Vivaticket retail network across Italy
How the ticket sale process works:
- • Season ticket holders (abbonati) get their seats automatically for every match
- • CRN cardholders get a priority window before general sale opens
- • General sale opens after priority phases. For the Derby and Champions League, tickets rarely reach this stage
- • Online sales are conducted through booking.acmilan.com. The Casa Milan ticket office and Vivaticket outlets provide in-person alternatives
Important for international visitors:
- • The official ticketing site is available in English at booking.acmilan.com/en
- • E-tickets and mobile tickets are standard for most matches
- • A valid photo ID matching the name on your ticket is required at entry
- • Arrive early on matchday as security checks at the gates can create long queues, especially for big fixtures
AC Milan Ticket Strategy
- The Cuore Rossonero card is worth it if you're targeting a big match. Without it, Derby and Champions League tickets are nearly impossible through official channels
- Set up your MyMilan account well before tickets go on sale. General sale windows open a few weeks before the match and move fast
- Cup matches and early Europa/Champions League group stage fixtures are your best chance at face value
AC Milan Official Hospitality & Packages

- The VIP Historical Tram is genuinely unique in European football. A restored 1920s tram takes you through Milan to the stadium with food, drink, and entertainment on board
- Book well in advance for the biggest fixtures. Even hospitality sells out for the Derby della Madonnina
AC Milan Ticket Marketplaces
Secondary market platforms with availability when official channels sell out. For marquee fixtures like the Derby della Madonnina and Champions League knockout rounds, these platforms are often the most practical option for international visitors.
Ticket resale platforms operate independently of AC Milan and Matchday Guide. Clubs reserve the right to refuse entry for unauthorized tickets. All purchases are at your own risk. We recommend choosing vendors with buyer protection and checking ratings on Trustpilot.

Tips:

• Lotto
15-20 minute walk to stadium, or transfer to M5 | M1 (Rossa/Red) | Useful if you're coming from the Duomo (M1 direct) or Centrale area. Transfer to M5 at Lotto for one stop to San Siro Stadio, or walk the 15-20 minutes. The AC Milan matchday shuttle departs from Piazzale Lotto.

Pre-Match Bars Near San Siro
Inter and AC Milan share San Siro, so the bars around the stadium serve both fanbases on non-derby days. Milan fans naturally gravitate toward the Curva Sud (south) end of the ground. The San Siro area is residential, but a handful of bars have become matchday institutions. Important: On Derby della Madonnina days, stick to the Curva Sud side and avoid wearing colours in mixed areas before entering the ground.
Baretto 1957 Milano
On stadium grounds
Atmosphere: Stadium bar, Historic, Mixed fans
The only bar on the San Siro grounds, near Gates 0-1 on the Curva Nord side. Walls lined with football history photos spanning decades. On AC Milan matchdays the crowd shifts rossonero, though its Curva Nord location means it draws slightly more Inter fans on derby days.
Entry notes: Open to all fans. Gets busy in the hours before kickoff. On AC Milan matchdays, expect a mixed but Milan-leaning crowd.
Bordocampo Sports Pub
At the stadium
Atmosphere: Sports pub, Modern, Screens
A newer addition to San Siro's matchday scene, opened in late 2024 at Gate 15. Multiple screens, modern interior, and a sports pub atmosphere purpose-built for the matchday experience with food and drinks.
Entry notes: Open to all fans. Being newer, it draws a mix of supporters on matchdays.
Old Tenconi Pub
Short walk from stadium
Atmosphere: Traditional pub, Local favourite, Sky TV
A neighbourhood institution since 1990 with warm wooden interior, Sky TV screens, and views toward San Siro from the terrace. Popular with locals and visiting fans alike. A genuine local pub rather than a matchday pop-up.
Entry notes: Welcoming to all. A proper local with regulars. Good for pre-match food and drinks in a relaxed setting.
All Beer
Short walk from stadium
Atmosphere: Craft beer bar, Casual, Friendly
Craft beer spot within walking distance of San Siro with rotating Italian and international beers. More relaxed than the stadium-adjacent bars. Good for fans who prefer quality beer over matchday chaos.
Entry notes: Open to all. The craft beer focus draws a slightly different crowd. Good option if you arrive early.
Pre-Match Strategy
- Milan fans tend to approach from the Curva Sud (south) side. The bars near Gates 0-1 are more neutral territory
- For a stylish pre-match experience, have an aperitivo in the Navigli or Brera districts and take the metro to the stadium
- On Derby della Madonnina days, the areas around San Siro become more visibly divided between the two fanbases
Matchday Traditions & Atmosphere
Pre-Match Build-Up
The streets around San Siro fill with Rossoneri supporters hours before kickoff, particularly along Via Harar and Piazzale Angelo Moratti. Street vendors sell scarves, flags, and jerseys near the stadium approaches. The pre-match atmosphere is distinctly Italian: fans gather at nearby bars for an aperitivo and espresso, the smell of roasting chestnuts and porchetta drifts from food stands, and the buzz builds steadily as supporters stream from the metro and tram stops toward the ground.
Inside San Siro
The Curva Sud is the spiritual home of AC Milan's ultras and the epicentre of matchday atmosphere. The Fossa dei Leoni, founded in 1968 as one of Italy's first ultra groups, set the template for Italian fan culture. Today, alongside the Brigate Rossonere (1975) and Commandos Tigre (1985), they produce spectacular tifo mosaics that span the entire stand, coordinated flares, coloured smoke, and continuous chanting from first whistle to last. For the Derby della Madonnina against Inter, both curvas try to outdo each other with choreographed tifo displays that begin 30 minutes before kickoff. AC Milan, founded in 1899, is the older of the two clubs and carries a deep sense of tradition and identity into every derby.
Post-Match
After the final whistle, fans pour back toward the metro stations and into the bars along Via Harar and the surrounding streets. The area around San Siro has a handful of spots for post-match drinks and food, but many supporters head into central Milan for dinner and nightlife. The Navigli canal district, Brera, and Corso Como are all popular post-match destinations, each reachable by metro within 20-30 minutes.
Visitor Tips
- Arrive at least 90 minutes early for big matches. For the Derby della Madonnina, arrive even earlier to see the pre-match tifo displays from both ends
- The Curva Sud (second tier) has the best atmosphere but is ultra territory. The first tier of Curva Sud is more accessible for visitors wanting to experience the noise
- The San Siro area is residential and quiet outside matchdays. Plan to eat and drink in the city centre before or after
