Official PSV Eindhoven Tickets

Face Value

Philips Stadion holds 35,119 fans and PSV have won three consecutive Eredivisie titles (2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25). Season Club Cards are sold out, but the free PSV Club Card (obtainable by anyone via psv.nl) provides access to remaining ticket purchases once the priority windows for members and season card holders have closed. This is the standard route for international visitors.

PSV Club Card - the essential first step:
  • The Club Card is free and required to purchase any PSV match tickets through official channels
  • Register at psv.nl/en/ticketinfo/club-card
  • Requires iDIN bank verification (Dutch online banking standard) or an international equivalent
  • International visitors without Dutch bank access should check the registration page for alternatives or contact PSV directly
  • Once your Club Card account is active, remaining tickets after priority sales are available via psv.nl/tickets
Ticket priority order:
  • Season Club Card holders receive first access - all 35,119 cards are sold out for 2025-26
  • My PSV+ members (paid annual membership) receive priority in any new Season Card release and enhanced match ticket access
  • PSV FANclub and Supporters Association members receive priority before general Club Card sale
  • General Club Card holders purchase remaining allocation after all priority groups
Match availability by fixture type:
  • Standard Eredivisie fixtures against mid-table opponents: Club Card holders can usually find remaining tickets
  • PSV vs. Ajax, PSV vs. Feyenoord (De Topper / De Klassieker): Sell out rapidly, often before Club Card general sale
  • Champions League and Europa League matches: High demand, early purchase essential
  • Check psv.nl/tickets when Club Card registration is complete
💡

PSV Ticket Strategy

  • Obtain the free Club Card well before your planned visit - processing can take several days
  • For PSV vs. Ajax or Feyenoord, use LFT or P1 Travel as the priority allocation is exhausted quickly
  • For standard Eredivisie matches, the Club Card route works reliably for remaining tickets
  • PSV also operates an official ticket resale platform for season card holders with unused tickets - check psv.nl when looking for sold-out matches

Pre-Match in Eindhoven

Matchday Traditions and Atmosphere

The Philips Heritage

PSV stands for Philips Sport Vereniging - Philips Sports Association. The club was founded in 1913 by the Philips electronics company to provide a sports facility for its factory workers. Eindhoven and Philips grew up together - without Philips there would be no modern Eindhoven, and without Eindhoven there would be no PSV. The stadium still carries the Philips name. This heritage makes PSV unusual among Europe's top clubs: a team genuinely tied to a single employer and a single city, rather than a multinational commercial entity.

The Heldenlied and the 19:13 Tradition

PSV's Heldenlied (Heroes' Song) is played as the team enters the field before every home match. At exactly the 19th minute and 13th second of every match - the 19:13 mark, referencing the club's founding year - the song is played again and the stadium erupts. This tradition is unique to PSV and gives the match a distinct recurring moment. Visitors who are not expecting it are invariably caught off guard.

Boeren Identity

PSV's fanbase identifies as 'boeren' - Dutch for farmers or peasants - taking deliberate pride in Eindhoven's provincial character compared to the Randstad cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The self-deprecating defiance behind this is a genuine piece of Dutch regional identity. When PSV fans shout 'boeruhh, boeruhh' at Philips Stadion, they are performing a piece of Brabantian cultural assertion. The club has won three consecutive Eredivisie titles and the boeren do not feel apologetic about it.

Inside Philips Stadion

Philips Stadion is compact - 35,119 capacity, built into the surrounding urban streets in a way that creates a tight, enclosed atmosphere. The distance from the stands to the pitch is shorter than most comparable European venues. The east stand lower terrace is the most vocal section. The Supportersvereniging PSV, with 14,000 members, has its own Supportershome on the north side of the stadium, open before and after every home match. On Champions League nights, the atmosphere is among the best in the Netherlands.

💡

Visitor Tips

  • Watch for the 19:13 mark - the first time you hear the Heldenlied played mid-game, you'll understand why it's a tradition worth experiencing
  • Stratumseind (the longest pub street in the Netherlands, 40+ bars over 225 metres) is in the city centre and is the best pre-match gathering option
  • Eindhoven is a 75-minute train from Amsterdam - easily combined with a Dutch city break
