- • Regular SuperLiga fixtures: Widely available at low face value, often right up to matchday. Among the cheapest top-flight tickets in Europe

Red Star's ticketing system:

- • For the derby, the official route is difficult without membership history. It is a genuinely restricted, high-security fixture, not a casual add-on to a city break
- • The North Stand (Sever) is the Delije ultra end and produces the atmosphere, but it is intense and not a soft first-timer choice. The West and East stands offer the best mix of view and atmosphere

Pre-Match Bars for Red Star Matches
Important safety note: Belgrade is a two-club city and the Red Star vs Partizan rivalry is one of the most volatile in Europe. Partizan's fanbase (the Grobari) is based around their own stadium in the Autokomanda and Humska area, northeast of the Marakana. The old Autokomanda tavern that sits between the two grounds is mixed, contested territory and is best avoided by visitors. Stick to the Red Star side near the stadium in Dedinje, or to neutral central Belgrade bars in Stari Grad. On derby day, keep club colours out of sight anywhere in the city. Dedinje itself has little pub culture, so most fans drink in the centre and travel out.

More restaurant than rowdy bar, which makes it a relaxed spot to eat before walking to the ground.

Matchday Traditions & Atmosphere
Pre-Match Build-Up
The Marakana sits in the leafy Dedinje district, about 3.5km south of the city centre. Most fans drink and eat in central Belgrade around Republic Square and Knez Mihailova before heading out, since the stadium's residential neighbourhood has little in the way of bars. Right by the ground, the old tavern Avala on Ljutice Bogdana is a long-standing meeting point for supporters before kickoff. Scarf and merchandise sellers set up near the entrances on matchday, and the drums of the Delije can be heard from the North Stand well before kickoff.
Inside the Marakana
The atmosphere comes from the North Stand (Sever), home of the Delije, one of the most organised and intense ultra groups in Eastern Europe. Expect near-constant chanting, giant tifo banners, and heavy use of flares, smoke, and pyrotechnics, including the famous ring-of-fire welcome on the biggest nights. Chants of 'Ovo je Srbija' (This is Serbia) ring around the bowl. The pitch is ringed by a running track, so sightlines from the lower tiers can be a little distant, but the noise more than makes up for it. Red Star's 1991 European Cup win, the only such title by a club from the former Yugoslavia, is a constant reference point in the songs and banners.
The Eternal Derby (vs Partizan)
The Veciti derbi against Partizan Belgrade is regularly named one of the most intense and dangerous derbies in world football. Both clubs share the city but sit in different areas: Red Star in Dedinje, Partizan a short distance northeast around Autokomanda and Humska. The fixture brings a huge police operation, extreme pyrotechnics, and a real history of crowd trouble, including seats being set alight in the away end at recent meetings. If you attend, sit in a neutral or premium area, keep club colours out of sight around the city, and expect long security queues and bag checks.
Post-Match
After the final whistle most fans drift back towards the centre on foot or by tram, as the stadium area empties quickly. Central Belgrade, especially the bars and kafanas around Skadarlija, Republic Square, and the Savamala district, is where the night continues. Belgrade's nightlife runs late, so there is no rush to find somewhere after a match.

- Arrive early for European nights and the derby. Security is thorough and the queues build well before kickoff
- The North Stand (Delije) is the heart of the noise but is standing, intense, and not ideal for a first visit. The West or East stands are a better balance
